  • Welcome to
    Holy Spirit
    Catholic Community
    Butte, Montana!

Our parish began in 1978 when a community began gathering for Mass at the Home Atherton Fire Hall.  After worshiping in two other locations over the years, we eventually moved to our current home just in time to celebrate Mass on Christmas Eve, 1993.  (For more about our story, click above).

You will find we are a vibrant community.  We have a wonderful diversity of ages, backgrounds, and interests; however, we are held closely to our Catholic faith, our belief in the risen Lord and the celebration of the Sacraments.  We strive to be a people
of hospitality, joy and service.  It is our hope that everyone will feel welcomed in our parish, and that you will find support and encouragement on your journey of faith. Again, welcome!
